Secret Invasion trailer released

During ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, Marvel Studios released a trailer for their upcoming espionage thriller Secret Invasion, which revealed a new threat that Nick Fury and his allies will have to face. Set in the present-day MCU, Secret Invasion follows Fury as he learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Together with his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull Talos, they must race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity. The series stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, and many more.

In addition to the trailer, Marvel also released a poster for the series, featuring a close-up of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury with the ominous tagline, “Invasion is just the beginning.” The poster hints at the intense and action-packed nature of the series, which is set to be a major addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Secret Invasion will be directed by Ali Selim and is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.
